The ever-reliable PlayStation Game Size Twitter account has revealed the file size for the Mortal Kombat 1 PS5 Online Stress Test, and the good news is it won’t be causing your hard drive much stress.
According to the site, the file will clock in at just 6.632GB, and if you’re lucky enough to have been selected for the event, you won’t have to wait long to participate: the online stress test kicks off later today!
Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled for release on PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S on September 19, 2023. The game takes place in a brand new reality formed after the events of MK11, including Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Kung Lao, Kitana, Raiden, Scorpion and Sub-Zero, albeit in reimagined form, while Kameo Fighters freshen up combat by allowing players to call upon other classic MK characters to aid them in battle.
In related news, Ed Boon, the co-creator of the series, said that a third Injustice game hasn’t been ruled out; the team are simply focussing on MK1 for the time being.
