It looks like the whole not-E3 season of E3 isn’t quite over just yet, as SEGA will host its own Sonic Central event this coming Friday, June 23, 2023, at 8am PST / 11am EST / 4pm BST.
SEGA doesn’t say much about what we’ll see at the event, only that we’ll see “a sneak peek of some of our upcoming projects, partnerships and events happening in 2023.”
With the recent reveal of Sonic Superstars, it could be possible that we learn more about Superstars at this event. It’s could also be the case that we hear more about Sonic Frontiers DLC.
After the last DLC pack only included new game modes, it would be interesting to see if there’s new story content lined up as DLC for Sonic Frontiers.
There’s also a good chance we’ll learn a little more about the third Sonic film, though with that still said to not be coming until late 2024, it still might be too early for that.
At least we won’t have to wait long to find out, as this Sonic Central is only a couple of days away now.
