Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is launching on October 24, 2023 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S, Konami announced today.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 features Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Konami will presumably release a second volume of the collection at some point, which we speculate may include the PSP games and other titles, although we’re hoping Metal Gear Solid 4 gets a look-in, too.
Meanwhile, Konami is also developing a full-blown remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, which is known as Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, and is coming to PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
Created by Hideo Kojima, the Metal Gear series has been on ice for a number of years now following Kojima-san’s departure from Konami back in 2015.
