The Final Fantasy XVI update 1.02 patch notes have been revealed ahead of the game’s highly anticipated launch on PS5 tomorrow, which comes with some basic performance improvements and other general fixes for Square Enix‘s RPG. You can read up on the update below.
- Fix a control flag issue which can make progress impossible under very specific circumstances.
- Fix an issue wherein the game could close unexpectedly under very specific circumstances
- Optimize performance in several places.
- Fix some minor text errors.
Final Fantasy XVI is scheduled for release on June 22, 2023 for PS5. Famitsu magazine awarded the game a near-perfect score in its review, and in a separate interview, its creative director told the publication that the Final Fantasy XVI will feature around 100 side quests.
