Fresh details on Naughty Dog‘s as-yet unannounced The Last of Us Part 3 have emerge via leaker DanielRPK, who claims that the post-apocalyptic sequel will introduce five new characters into the mix.
According to the leaker, who is best known for their insider gossip on Marvel TV shows and films, these new characters will form part of a group of “scavengers” who are “surviving on the outskirts of a post apocalyptic city,” and shacked up in a Victorian house.
Lucas is described as an “affable” sort who “develops a relationship with another young scavenger and will have to turn to show his dark.” It is possible the younger scavenger is Gracie, who is reportedly between the ages of 18-25.
Mason is a “former soldier” who is forced to “choose between his loyalty” to other people in the group when “Val gets put in charge.” Finally, Ezra apparently wants to “take over the house from Val” and has an antagonistic role.
Meanwhile, leaker ViewerAnon said that Ellie will be “at least as important” in Part 3 as she was in the previous game, although it’s unknown at this point if Abby and Lev will return.
As mentioned, The Last of Us Part 3 has yet to be announced by Naughty Dog, but it was reported last year that not only is the game in production, but is being made for PS5 and with ‘PS6 in mind.’ Neil Druckmann said back in March this year that he’s aware fans are eager for a new The Last of Us game, but stopped short of confirming if it’s Naughty Dog’s next big game.
